MRC IEU Biostore

Leading the development of causal analysis methods for application in population-based and clinical health sciences.

The MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit at the University of Bristol (IEU) conducts some of the UK's most advanced population health science research. It uses genetics, population data and experimental interventions to look for the underlying causes of chronic disease. 

Substantial investment from both the UK Medical Research Council and the University of Bristol provides resources for staff, research support and infrastructure to execute world-leading multi-disciplinary research in a vibrant, forward-looking environment.
